This might give you some idea of potential for your combo, the suspension in this was just your standard king spring and reset leaf deal, installed 90/10 shocks for the run to lift front a bit more...

CAR: 1200 ute
WEIGHT: 840kg
MOTOR: A12 @ 104kwatw
GEAR BOX: 56 series 4 speed
CLUTCH: xedy heavy duty
DIFF: H165 (stock)
TURBO/SUPER CHARGER/CARBY: IHI vj26 turbo, a14 efi.
EXHAUST: frankthedolphintrainer manifold into 2.5 inch mandrel.
1/4 MILE: 13.2sec

Yes, that's good. 1850 pounds and 139 rwhp -- anything under 13.8 is very good. It doesn't take a lot for the suspension to be set up well for drag racing.

Here is the ca18 sohc 8v Naps w/ the same features as the Z but smaller valves, ports and bores. Its a turbo ca18et thats putting out 443nm / 258kw atw @ 5500rpm using stock cam and done again by a Finnish dude.

He went aftermarket rods as prepped Det rods would be just a small saving. Stock mid throttle inlet manifold is restrictive compared to the later one. Head is stock also.
Not bad for Nappy head that I agree are crap if cast in australia like most ca20 are.

Car unfortunately had to be sold.

The family problem that caused me to advertise it last time had resurfaced and I didnt have much choice. It's a sad day...
