air horns are supposed to increase airflow by extending the barrell and having a radiused entry. But since the DGVs' openings are already larger than the barrell, I doubt it matters much.

Although he says it did increase the flow. I wonder by how much? I've never seen this type of low-profile type.

I have a similar thing for my 36/36 DCD Weber I got off D

When dyno tuning the A14 it was good for 4% more power so they can make some pretty suprising gains if designed correctly.

Aww so it doesn't play "La cucaracha"?

4% gain is surprising tho!

4% is awesome. That's more than gained by raising compression from 9.0 to 10.0.

Just for comparison, whats the av. power gain from SUs or Twin Webbers on a stock A-series VS a 32/36?

I bought one of these cos it was on the specials' page at pierce manifolds when I bought a couple of synchrometer adaptors, I figured if I was going to be paying a butt load might as well be a little more

I'll attempt to get off my arse and take a pic of it cos its not really like the one pictured above.

And yeah the dyno guy was pretty shocked.

I mentioned that the ram tube was supposedly pretty cool and he called me on it

So off it came and we did a run without it then whacked it back on and there was 4%

Jon`s your one is a good one made from cast alloy not this plated tin thing ebay one.

Last new years I overtook a Falcon that undertook me
earlier on the freeway only to find out he was a cop
and I mentioned the undertaking caper was a bit strange.
He checked through the engine bay and found a stock a12
well from the outside anyway :) got off with a warning.
He used no lights in the emergency lane so was annoyed.

Little tweaks make a big change to an A series.
modded carb w/ tuning, Good ignition, lightweight flywheel
(2.85kg custom tilton cromo item) lightweight, late cast
pulley (82 onwards) & good balancing makes a difference.

if someone needs a weber 32/36 adaptor
