Thats the 200mm LD20 Pressure plate. The diesel pressure plate has more clamping force. Last time I bought one for a guy, (When I got my guy to redrill his flywheel to accept the larger clutch cover) The guy at the clutch shop said he wouldn't normally sell that pressure plate to a customer for a passenger car. (Too much clamping force, not ideal for a non performance oriented person)

wow, 355kg spread over 200 mm.

30210-K0100 C200S, 355KG
* Datsun 810 LD20
* Datsun 910 L16S, Z16S, LD20, Z18P
* B12 E15S.4WD, GA15.4WD
* N13 E15.4WD, GA15.RWD
* C22 LD20
* C120 LD20
* C31 LD20
* R30 LD20

The NISMO A-series part # 30210-A1200 is 550kg, but that would require a stiffer leg i would think. And it's only spread over 180mm.

If you have a turbo/supercharger these would be great.

The last guy for whom I had a flywheel redrilled is fitting it to a supercharged A15.

I think the 215mm that you did was mine from a SR20 Pulsar I doesn't slip now it's converted clutch slip to wheel spin very nicely and the pedal pressure is good as well

hi guys this might be a bit over the top but check this out for a clutch , it's only 100mm dia carbon/carbon F1 clutch , it's so cute it is a shame to hide it in a bellhousing

Sexy clutch Wards! And they say size matters.......Not!.
No change from $25,000 for somthing like that i`d guess.

I priced a more basic carbon/carbon clutch in the AP range and it was $8,000!

I settled for this one.
Open in new window

Its a sintered twin 5.5" AP. A bargain compared to the Carbon version.

Clutch was $1650 and the flywheel cost $600 to get made.
It is built to hold 390FtLb of engine torque. Pretty crazy for its size.

It is very easy to overheat the plates and intermediate plate if its allowed to slip much during starts. Best to side step the pedal.
Its only 1.5kg from memory.

Certainly more $$ than a std assy but as you said the amount of torque it can handle plus placing the (pretty minimal) weight close to the center of the flywheel make it a very nice bit of kit..

Are there more street oriented options available as well?
