as the title says, does anyone have a round port twin hitachi manifold to fit standard a12 they would consider selling?? thanks

There is no round-port twin-Hitachi manifold.

There are some round-port SU manifolds for A12, which have the SU 4-bolt pattern. They are aftermarket or homemade. You can fit fit smaller 4-bolt or 2-bolt SUs or Hitachis to them generally speaking.

Hitachi 38mm sidedrafts use the same bolt pattern as 1-1/2" 2-bolt SUs. They are very similar but linkage, some internal parts and such are different.

Here is a photo of Lynx D1000, which will work. It has the HS4 SU bolt pattern, different from Hitachi but compatible.


As you can see these S.U. carbs have a different bolt pattern than GX carbs, but the Lynx manifold has several bolt holes for all the different types.




By contrast, a GX manifold will not fit the S.U. carbs in the photo. It will fit other S.U. carbs and of course will fit GX Hitachi carbs.

The problem with this D1000 manifold is that it has no provision for crankcase ventilation. The rare Lynx M042 or M137 has it.

yep that type of lynx manifold is what i'm after, i realise there wasn't the round port style gx setup but its easier to describe it that way to get my explanation of what i'm after over the internet
