Spent quite some time drilling and shaping these mounts with the grinder for smooth edges, not to mention pulling apart a ca20 engine bay just to get to the Pintara crossmember and paying $40 for it after an hour.

All you need is to sit your ca18det on your crossmember with these babies on and just spot weld through the holes and presto. Metal is about 4mm thick so even can be done with an Arc welder set at 60-70amps.

Will suit a 1200 better than 1000 as I ran out of room
in my lil 1000 there is less room than 1200s.

$45 + 5 posted anywhere in Oz.

when placed on my 1000 bare (mounts removed) crossmember one at a time the ca18de block sat with 2 inches from the firewall but I calculated it was missing 1 inch a side for clearance to get my fingers underneath these mounts for the bolts that connects to the engine mounts.
The inner guard got in the way due to housing the top wishbone unlike the strut towers of the 1200 which
have more room in this area. I was going to cut them to make room for my fingers but that top lipping gives its strength & would have to weld something else inside it to compensate like bent to shape 5mm diameter steel rod.

Wondering if I might be able to use these to mount the G13B? Would it work with puck-type engine mounts and a custom engine bracket?

I will take the mounts if nobody has they would be sweet for L series conversion, similar to bluebird and stanza mounts they are.

no good for CA into 1200, the elongated slot for the rubber mount ends up in front (or in line with if you want the motor super close to the firewall) of the front mounting face on the 1200 crossmember

therefore installed straight onto a 1200 crossmember the ca would need a two inch recess into the firewall

Is there enough room to use these with flat plates to move the mounts back (similar to how A14 swaps are done)?
