If anyone else is having trouble with browsing to the full sized images ( I did - seems some browsers/sites don't handle spaces in links well, or more precisely when a space is replaced by "%20" or whatever the code is for a space) - well here they are. I realise this throws off the formatting/size of the posts in this thread, so if anyone objects, I'll delete this post

Obviously this will do a lot to increase support of the steering box, and for most non performance applications, they do fine without a brace at all - but purely for discussion purposes I reckon you might even be able to beef it up just a touch more, simply by adding an extra beam or two from the inner guard bolts at the top, to the 2 innermost steering box bolts. I won't bore people with an mspaint pic unless someone asks :) , but basically that would triangulate the support and make it close to bulletproof (of course you could also argue that if it needs to be beefed up beyond the mad dat one, it'll likely punch a hole in the inner guard and tear the chassis rail (which is of course never likely to ever happen, or if it did, it'd be of no concern, as the forces required to do that probably mean that the car has had such a bad roll/crash that it'd dpractically damaged beyond repair, so the steering box condition is irrelevant)
