engine rebuild

hi all, i am rebuilding my a12 engine this is my first attempt by myself to do it,so iam reading the book, but in the it says about pistons (note:that the squirt hole in the big end of the connecting rod is to the right hand side of the engine)is that looking at the front or rear.(or manifold side or or dizzy side ???? regards nustad 12

looking at engine from front, oil hole to the left/dizy side,hope this helps,cheers

all directions in the manual will be from the perspective of being at the back of the engine looking forward, just as if you were sitting in the drivers seat.
So "right hand side" will be the drivers side of the engine. Oh, and good choice on your first engine rebuild!
