I bought one in 2002 for $150 and put over 100000 k's on it. The A14 dogleg 5 speed made for a fun combo and they were only sold for 6 months in Aus before the E series motor was slotted in. Only weak point due to age and availability was the gearbox.

I wouldn't do one up with the intention of making money on it as interest in them is low to non-existent unless you are Wombat from Tassie who loves the whole Datsun Cherry scene!

Great as a commuter/knock around car.

yeah the A series engines, gearbox and suspension are what I love. (fits into my E10) you dont see many N10 around now days (rust). I wouldnt even have a clue what you would pay for one now as the couple i got have been for free (bush recovery) and the other car I swapped an A14 and gearbox out of a Sunny wagon for it.

I did almost buy a N10 race car.
