In the market for a new clutch for my ca18det race car, would like something good but only got bout 400 to spend! Don't want one thAts gonna be a bitch to drive but don't want something that will flare whe I put some boost into the ca!
Looking at making 170~200rwkw ATM but have movement to improve!

dunno how good they are yet but i bought one of the xtreme heavy duty clutches for the sr, i think it was like 320 or so. will let u know how it goes.

xtreme are #OOPS#, ive seen many #OOPS# themselves/ explode, exedy are good clutches, something that will handle abit of power but be easy to drive is a cushion button. thats what im looking at getting atm, not to sure on price yet tho

Talk to Jim Berry at Race Clutch. My clutch is still going after 7 or 8 years of being driven hard at motorsport events.

Jim does make a good clutch, looked into him and spoke to him for hours about his full Monty for my skyline, but I don't have the $$
I no Jim, npc, are both good but looking for a budget one

Fair enough mate. But given how much of a pain in the arse it is to change a clutch once the engine and box are in the car and your power goals I would save a bit more and go with a better rather than budget option.

so guys are the extreme clutches good quality clutches or not as when i get motor built will be after a new clutch as well.
