i have to say those taipan(beach Buggy) cars with the VW engine in them go hard, i nearly bought one about 2 years ago. thought about changing the VW engine to one of the porche engines, from what i can tell they aren't that different in size!

sorry dude....
dont take offense to what I said. I am really only just stiring. I have a buddy that was a VW mechanic for a number of years, and his 1500 beetle went hard. He used to come with me 4wding in it!! ok so we had to pull him out a number of times, but it had great ground clearence. On the other had, he also had a number of other bugs and had endless problems and has since decided that VW are crap had he has never bought another one since. He now works as a toyota mechanic.
