urgent turn signal part id

i was just disconnecting the turn signal assembly in order to remove in prep for installing a new steering column busch when this part fell out.

what is it and more importantly where does it go??

IT looks like it could be off the connector which would be under the dash.. hard to tell

That's if it is part of the turn signal switch or unit :S

The part connected under the Dash?? other wise have a look at that link to ebay and see if u can notice the part in which it is actually missing off the turn signal switch

yeah cheers, shouldve mentioned id already looked at techwiki. can't see it there.
any other ideas?

it came out after i loosened the wiring on the stalk side. now the stalk is hanging limp.

i've found where it goes. hard to describe. in behind the wiring on the opposite side to the stalk. slides in a slot and serves as some kind of contact.

one prob solved. now no indicators!
