So you are in the USA.
Is the LHD speedo cable different to the RHD one? There are several Datsuns/Nissans that share the same end connectors. The length just differs. I also saw a new one on Yahoo Auctions Japan, and you could buy one through Nissan from the B120. (I'm not sure the latest models use the same connectors) Chris

I am in the usa. as far as the type i really don't know. The trans. end has a round shaft instead of a square one. If not for that i could just use a normal universal cable

A B-210 cable will work (1974-1978). Probably even a "Datsun 210" cable (1979-1982).
