Welcome to the world of the Datsun 1200. I just noticed this thread, and have to commend you on your energy and enthusiasm. I bought my first Datsun, a 1966 SPL311-U Roadster in 1971. Three 1200 coupes later, I am sticking with the B-110.
Have fun with "Ruby"!!!

Did you put the seats in it, the Brown seats? won't kill it... well don't plan on killing it

It's now got a 120y Borg warner diff in it.. farking heaps bigger and wasn't any longer so cheering. Locked it up tonight aswell.

I've killed the motor though, just going to drive it around until it pops... I picked up a t25 turbo... going to pick up a cheap a14 and build a turbo motor on a budget... but my biggest thing will be hiding the turbo as I'm on my P's still... :s

The brown seats were in it when I brought it about 7 or 8 years ago.
I did put the blocks and cut the front springs. (did u like my dodgy repair to the inner guard!!!!)

I was going to turbo as well but no time. I just sold a reco cd stromberg for 150 on eBay
You going draw thru?

Why did the guy who got it from me sell it so quick?
Keep us posted

Yeah I liked the dodgy inner guard fix hahaha... nothing abit of tape can't fix lol. No idea... he had about 5 or 6 BMW E30's though so assume he didn't like the datto.

I am only on my P's... so i want to make it very hidden. So i'm thinking blow through, 32/36 webber, stock exhaust manifold with stock aircleanerto hide alot, with basically a J pipe to a small turbo.. T25? something small...

it just has to be fairly hidden..... so if they do pop the bonnet it isn't a dead give away. I want about 80kw at the wheels.... should be easy to get probably go A14

Just put an A14 in it, doesn't require an engineer to sign off on it in most states.
