windscreen is in .... onsite install $230 all up. It seems that there is only one place you can get these now and it's a distributor in Sydney.

we don't make any in Aus anymore

Oh and the rubber from "Scott's Old Rubber" here in Melbourne went in fine ... only the passengers side top corner was poking out a bit ... nothing that a bit of poly urethane couldn't glue down

So is it like the one pictured on ebay that has the black banding around the edges of the screen?

Two months on and time for a little update... by little means that I have done little

- Resprayed the whole bonnet after badly scratching it and could not blend in the repair
- Got the engine temp gauge working .... tried everything else other than checking that the wire was connected to the sensor ... then fixed that .
- Cut back the clear coat with 1200 and 1500 grit wet n dry then Buffed up the whole car (took weeks) - came up really nice
- Attached the steel hooks for the tonneua cover
- Wired up the plug ready for trailer hitch
- Bought (off eBay) and fitted new ignition and door locks so I only need one key to rule it all.
- went searching for tyres .. I think I will run 185 50 15 on the front and 195 65 15 on the back

Probably did a whole raft of little other things cause I seem to have spent a lot of time just for just that stuff......

Slow progress over winter

Re did my fuel filler pipes and made them more solidly fixed to the chassis.
Moved the brake lines away from fear of crushing if/when the rear suspension bottoms out
Repainted the bonnet ... oh I mentioned that already.... I tend to spend a whole lot of time in the shed and can't always account for it in things finished.

Anyway this update is just to show a new shiny pipe for the air intake and how I mounted it (made a bracket and spot welded it together)

pic.....
