Are the 60 series 5 speed extension housing the same as 4 speed or are they larger on the 5 speed to allow for the extra gear ...... I have a crack in mine and need to replace it

They are larger to allow for the extra gear. There are three kinds:
* 4-speed
* 5-speed dogleg shift
* 5-speed regular shift
