weber adm idle too high?

hi i have a weber 34 adm on my a12 and i runs fine just recently its started to idle high 800rpm before it was at 700rpm

i tried to reduce idle but the screw is fully backed of and its still at 800 trying to force the lever down dosnt reduce the speed not to sure why theres no air leaks.

it has no choke either all removed runs sweet aswell.

any ideas?

Air leak in the butterfly shaft? This is common on old dcoe webers.

Air leak (vacuum leak) is most probable. They are not easy to find. You cannot always find them by spraying. There are not usually along the carburetor-to-manifold gasket.

800 RPM is fine, it's within specifications. Enjoy.
