Does anyone know the Timing Settings For the a15 engine?

Yesterday i started to Pull apart the engine,we are certain that this engine was never opened befor by the looks of some bolts From the oil pump and Alternator bracket.

Got a little bit more work done striping it,We took of the flywheel,water pumphousing..Today we are going to strip it form the bottom then pull the pistons from below since we cant get of the cylinderhead because three bolts lock it,because of rust of over a period of time.

looks ike a good base. a15 is good over an a12 but dont expect a power house over an a12. the extra torque and hp is worth it. now save for dual carbs and a cam with it

Ok So i made some Progress today.
Took out main an conrod bearings also the crankshaft Jornals in pretty good shape .Maybe I Should lighten the crank.

Ok so besides The a15 in progess,I have to change my Dizzy on the A12 because of the broken springs in it,Not much power at take off But when it picks up,runs very well and climbing steep hills are a bit of trouble.

So ive Sorce a cheap one off another a12 from a Faimly that has a b120.So i'll chuck it in today..

Dropped the head and block off for cylinder head bolts to be drilled out,should get it back in the next 3 days.

Something depressing happen today.Driving on the highway,then all of a sudden ''WAPP'' bonet flips open.Was a bit frightening, pulled on the shoulder to see what happed .Bonet was in a mess flipped back and hit the hood at top of windsheild ,seems that the hinge ketch FAILED.Ponged It out but im Happy that everyone that was in the car is ok.Could have been worse.
