I dunno what their prices are like these days, but if the turbo hasn't worn the bush bearings (assuming you aren't going to find a $100 ball bearing centred turbo!) - what people used to do on the blowthruturbo mailing list (now called carbureted blowers and dead for over a year, a few random posts here and there but mostly dead) was go to '
www.turbocity.com' - which were somewhere in the USA iirc, and buy their turbo rebuild kits for about $100. Perhaps double that to account for inflation (the mailing list was in its hey day in the late 90s or thereabouts). As long as the bushes haven't worn a groove on the shaft, AND the wheels haven't scraped the housings, then you can dismantle (mark it first, or photo it or whatever) and then re-assemble and as long as you align the wheels as they were before, the balance won't be affected.
