we have not done much work on my ute 4 a long time now, my mate moved out of him mum and dad house and his dad told him to get very thing out of the shed where the ute was, so it in a new shed now, told 2 weekends and some nite after work to make room and more all the stuff into the shed but its in the shed now hope we can get back in to it year

we moved the back tailgate handle from the outside to the inside, making the back look abit cleaner.
we are using the datsun door catch so if the sides try made the tailgate wont come open because it will lock in.
we got it all working and all the gaps looking good, i have some photos but not many

and its a "E1" typre oil filter, i work for toyota, always ran them

I like your tailgate ... what mechanism will you use as the opening lever ?

Now you need to cut off the rain guards on the tray so it's real clean. :)

and possibly weld up the gate so it looks like this :)
