Did soom work TODAY,Cleaned Rockershaft took out old waterjacket at the back of the cylinder head,Cleaned Exhaust Manifoild,n other Bits.

Hey Peep,Went to collect my a15 pistons that I had carry to regrove to suit Both Thick Ring.Original Piston had Small and big grove.

Today i got a bit did on my a15,washed the engine block an then Fush it with water,some nasty #OOPS# Came out of it.Pics tomorrow.

Have you been washing the block with water etc, I noticed that the camshaft is still mounted in teh block, I would be removing the cam and lifters before going any further, as you dont want them rusting up.

Yes I did wash the block with water,I Blocked up the dizzy hole,Fuel pump and oil Holes.I carefully washed the block not letting any water get on top to go into the oil holes.I'm not a expert on taking out cams as I never even took out a datsun Cam before.But i keep turning it every so often so it wont seize.


Next thing on my list is to change a water Plug at the back of the block.
