Colour is Ford Nitro blue. Looks really nice in the sunlight...although won't be seeing to much sunlight when the bonnet's closed!

2k definitely more durable than acrylic, but not that practical for home spray jobs. Which is why I got a professianal to do it in a booth...although I did put the 2k highfill on in my garage.

Gonna start to play with the mechanicals now and get the CA sitting pretty..then will worry about an exterior paint job...will have to start saving $$$.

I like the color choice too. Looks fairly close to the original "Sun-light Blue"

Yeah, I chose that color because I thought it looked kinda similar to the original blue. However it's quite a hard colour to get good coverage on and the painter put down about 6 coats of the base color before he cleared it..so I reckon it's come up a bit darker than on the fords I have seen in the same color (looks even darker in the pics, but does lighten up a bit under natural light).

Anyway I happy with it and can't wait to see the outside done in it too...I better start saving!

Better to add extra layers of paint as Ford had issues with warranty jobs on that colors as it faded and cracked on falcons from memory.

Lots of coverage issues with it.

Extra layers will help for sure and give a deep finish
