do you have a parts list and basic outline of what needed to be done? because the tech wiki is a clusterfuck.
what i have gathered is that i need lower control arms, steering arms, ball joints and outer tie rod ends from a B310 and a complete strut out of a 280zx. anything else?

Yeah you also need to cut of the lower spring seat and weld on a 1200/120y/b310 one or make coilovers because 280zx spring diameter is to large.

I have to ask, what is the B310 equivalent in the USA? I have the 280ZX struts but thats it.

Here is what's needed:

280ZX Strut, lower control arm, radius / castor rod.

The stock spring is the same diameter as the 1200 I just do not know if the ZX top spring mount fits within the strut tower (Mine have coil over set-up), The cross member will needed to be modded to fit the the ZX control arm. The sway bar end links and or mounting location on the control arm will need to be modified. The tie rod ends I have are custom for racing but I believe you can use the 280ZX parts at the strut and then the rest is stock 1200. If you wish to run the 280ZX brake caliepers with 13" wheels the need to milled about 5mm on the top so they clear.

I had datsun sunny joints and ends in mine and the 280zx struts bolted straight in, btw the spring was alot bigger then the stock 1200 spring in diameter.

But I grinded my mounts off and coilover sleeved it, looked like this before painting and cleaning up.
