Only thing I notice that may be of an issue is that the coil over shocks are mounted in single shear. These carry all the weight now that the leaf springs are gone. Top effort for a days work, well done.

yeah benny that is correct, couldnt really think of a nice way to mount them in double shear that would be any stronger without the bottom mounts dragging on the ground, as the mount would have to wrap under the coilover. the bottom pin is a 22mm thick rod that only steps down for where the spherical on the coilover mounts to, so it should hopefully be alright

yeah, i was looking at the pins, they are under a lot of load, bent a few on the rally car just using them for shock not springs, but yours are definitely larger. bottom ones look well supported but i cant see the mounting of the top pin in your photos

hope you have 100m clearance under that low shock mount to the road?

looks sexy, hope it works well for you

tops are pretty much the same as the bottom, pics are back a page or 2. they dont stick out as far so dont need to extra support that the bottom have. and they also have a piece of 3mm plate laminated to either side of the crossmember to take the load, so its 5mm thick where the pins go through the crossmember.

did your shocks have the bump stops in them? as i could understand bending them with constant bottoming out or what not as that would put considerably more load on them than they would ever see in normal suspension travel

i will probably weld the standard wagon bump stops to the diff so that the shock bump stops dont ever need to be used

and yeah 100mm....i think its got just over that, i did try to make it legal height. cant remember whether or not i succeeded

Just be careful if you ever park your car with two wheels up a gutter that you don't get stuck and don't put it through one of those conveyor belt car washes and you will be sweet.
