you can just machine the mini manifolds from billet they will lend themselves to all sorts of setups even crossflow manifold that goes to the other side of the engine bay. Ill pay for the mini manifolds no problems they will come in handy big time.

almost the reverse of these but with smooth flow passages

spot on!

they will suit most R1 or modern bike carbs
eg. Rover with R1 carbs..
http://www.boggbros.co.uk/images/Rover_v8_1_320pix.jpg

will even suit Kadron Brosol VW aftermarket carbs and
even common old school stromberg carbs

but for me its to make a plenum on top for boost.

not to sure about billet ones as the bend would have to be tight but certianly can do a ally set welded to flange and flowed to suit but i might suss a high pressure casting at a later date for them coz thats a great idea

that would be awesome especially if you had option for injector boss's, maybe even a 2 piece intake plenum similar to the cpc ones for turbo and efi setups

injection would be easy with injector machined on the back using brass tabs and would face direct to the ports.

To create these units it would need a separator going up to halve way up to keep pulses even similar to stock manifolds but angle and port size should be increased for more volume and top two inlets at about 44 to 50mm tapered so if someone wants to run smaller carbs just cut off lower on the inlet pipes but must have a step on the outside for ease of securing hosing or sliding bigger alloy pipe on top for welding but those things can be also machined later.

These kind of mini manifolds would allow better turbo manifold design or straight out exhaust pipes.

There are 2 sizes in the R180 diffs, those with the K on the top are for the bigger R180 CW&P, those without the K are for the smaller R180 diff's, a 'big' R180 will not fit in the smaller housing, but the smaller CW&P will fit into the K housing.

Also the small R180 have 8 bolts and the big R180 have 10 bolts.

Alan which are used in the subeys? getting tricky now
Maybe better to make an alloy live axle carrier for the hilux diffs.
No shortage of ratios and people using them in all sorts of rides.
