I acquired most of this gear 2nd hand from a 1000 coupe I bought then found out all I could use was the computer and turbo. The manifolds were dodgy I repaired them then found that they wouldn't fit so I had to start again

It's a Toyota Camry (early nineties model) T/B with all unused pollution holes filled with resin. Standard round port manifold with alloy plate welded on to take T/B, injector bosses welded on to take camry injectors sard fuel regulator stinger ems cant remember which one, intercooler I think was $89 from ebay radiator was from ebay 3 core
had inlet temp sensor/TPS/water temp all connected through ems the fans were controlled by the ems as well
tuned at ova boost in Malaga

so bit of an update,
-engines ready to come out
-inside stripped
-floor insulation/ dynamat type rubbish removed(took 3 hrs and alot of hard work)
-panels,doors off
- unexpected surprise, at some stage my wee 85 1200 had an auto conversion complete with trans tunnel replacement ans kick down button installed by the accelerator pedal and light run to the center console.

the tunnel replacement is very rough and i dont know how i missed it at inspection. its starting to rust around where its been spot welded to the floor and where its spotted to the firewall need some work. removed all the dynamat type insulation from the tunnel/floors and it took ages.

few pics of progress, im not much of a photographer and i rarely get the camera out.

i did take a pics of small amount of fire wall rust near the lhs top corner but couldnt upload.

next step is to lift engine out and remove brake lines and all bar the axels/wheels and send it off for sandblasting

Yea I have this problem with limits and respect, I usually find limits by going past them and learn respect after the fact. I'm sure if I jumped in a more high powered 1200 there would be more respect from the get go.
I had a 1200 sedan when I was 19 and proceeded to jump into this ute and drove it home I drove my sedan, big mistake welded diff and loads more power at boost... Well you see how it ended

So anyway... Long time has passed and I had done very little, lost the drive and almost sold it all.
Since I have rebound my passion and am well on the way to getting this bad boy back on the road.

I've got the new body stripped completely, painted the engine bay and front chassis with rust inhibiting black tar crap, and a few bits in the cab. The only rust is a tiny but in the fireway near the bonnet hinge passengers side and the floor pan passenger side. Very small bits and not much at all for such an old car. It has a little surface rust now from sitting around bare in the rain but that will all come off soon enough.

Cleaned up, painted all the suspension components and fitted them to the new body along with the locked 4.11 diff. This car is still regod so I don't need to go over the pits at this stage.

So now I have a bare rolling body, need to fit doors and tailgate for alignment then send her out to get cleaned up a few dings removed and painted!

I've also plasti dipped the cushion for the dash, I think it's come up good but I'm going to need to clear coat it aswell cause of the nature of plasti dip I don't want to install it then get a scratch and have the whole lot peeling off.

Ill try get some more pics and give you lot a look
