Maybe you can buy mine off me and I can get a quieter system

I am not actually a fan of shaking buildings and frightening children as I drive past sounding like a four wheeled Harley Davidson.

I've got a 3inch system that I bought secondhand awhile ago and a brand new cat. Was planning just to bolt that on..never really thought about it being to loud. Might just have to stuff it full of steel wool or something for the test. As for scaring little kids...nothing wrong with that :). Better they hear you coming and keep clear!

Engineering Update

Just had the second engineering inspection (at my request)

Four items to fix
1. Secure the ECCU to a bracket under the passenger seat (needs to be secured ... not that it needs to go under the seat)
2. Make it quieter - it failed the db test
3. Weld a couple of 3mm plates to the mountings for my fuel tank - I have the R31 skyline tank
4. Insert some plates under my engine mounts to get 10mm between the crossmember and the sump

That's it ... everything inspected otherwise and he was happy with the work done

fixed the ECU to the floor and pulled out the fuel tank already

But No - I haven't made a commitment on the next inspection
He said also that photos of my fixed bit will do for proof - where you can't normally see.
