Your master cyl should be ok if running the 2 piton calipers and rear drums still if it's a stock dual master cyl such as the coupe had.

I've run a stock 11/16 master with stanza, 200b, twin piston sumitomo and now 4 piston sumitomos about to test out tomorrow.

All with either h145, h150 or current bw68 rear drums set ups.

As for the rest, not sure what spacing the 280z run that meets the ball joints.

No the 280ZX struts won't bolt into a ute. But it is a very good swap, you only need a few parts and to modify the struts. All the same work as done with most strut swaps.

See 280ZX Strut Swap.

a ute as late as yours should have the same lca's and castor lods as a suny already. Check the size of the bolts. If the ball joint bolts are 10mm dia, then you already have the ones you need. (17mm head)

Grab the whole front strut/brake assembly as well as the brake hoses. There's no difference in the front suspension/brakes on any of the 1979-1983 280ZX (although rear brakes vary).

Yes, you can purchase these parts new from Nissan for $$$. Or from supercheap you can get the rotors, calipers, bearings, balljoints, hoses and strut insert cartridges $$.

It will be far less expensive to get a good used units from the wreckers $, depending on the wrecker. I can buy them for $75 per side from pick-a-part type places, although regular wreckers may want $150 side.

These are NOT required:
* Camber plates (minimal camber change results from the ZX swap)
* Strut housing shortening (ZX strut is already short)
* Aftermarket coilover springs
* Custom top hats
* Changed master cylinder
* Custom/modified castor rods

1985 1200 utes already have the same LCA as a B310.

Late 1200s have the right LCA with castor rod, but still need the W50 Steering Arm and the W50 balljoint of the Strut Acceptance Package in order to fit 2.0" struts.
