300 hp in a 1900 pound 1200 (after conversion) is a lb/hp ratio of 6.3. The EVO X has a lesser ratio of 12. Nissan GTR is 7.2. It will be a handful without LSD, 4WD and with old-fashioned suspension ... in other words, fairly unusable.

As another comparison, a fairly stock ca in a 1200 will give a new clubby a run for its money and that would be under 200rwhp. 300hp is probably going to be the limit of what you would want in a street driven 1200 as you would be struggling for traction a bit i'd think. Any more than that will just shorten your tyre life.

Its aiming way too high in my opinion, a complete waste of the extra cash, if you were say, heading for a drag only car, it would be sweet.

For a street car 2-300 would be my tops, I was just going to use a gt2860/microtech and s15 injectors and see where it got me.

i've owned handful of jap cars with 250-300 killer wasps at the wheels and they fairly quick, i got my 1200 ute with 180kw at the wheels and that was stupid. i could bake tyres all the way up to 100+km/hr or some #OOPS# used to scare the living #OOPS# outta me when it came on boost, was a fun car but i honestly thought that was to much power for street duties everyone would just shake there heads and ask me what i was thinking driving that around lol
