Looks like you had a fun day Bob.
Our car club run those events twice a year and thats probably the only event I miss since giving up racing.
The little Datto's are well suited for this.
Where did you end up on the list at the end of the day?

Is the ute lifting the wheel under acceleration or due to cornering. I love those pics, it shows the wide rubber with one wheel off the ground! Can't stop smiling

Hey Ange All a bit of fun in the ute.
Think we have got the turbo dramas sorted on the coupe. Now to start sorting the handling etc but funds are tight atm so it will be a bit of steady as she goes. Was planning on the datnats but it aint gonna happen.

DJF280 Wheels are off the deck because of the cornering. It is a bit deceptive though.110kg driver ,battery and fuel tank on RHS makes turning long radius lefts a bit interesting .

A12 Grunt quick run down on specs
S13 front brakes standard drums rear,250 lb springs on 30 mm chopped 120y struts,Koni adjustables with camber tops and stanza balljoints.Madat sway bar.Rear springs lowered without overload springs.Custom made rear sway bar Koni adjustables.
Engine is A15 with webbers good head and a cam.
Tyres are 205/13s on 7inch wheels. Front guards have been pumped a little but running 3.5 degrees camber fit under guards well

Looks like it's trying to cock a leg to take a p!ss bob hahaha.

Looks like fun.

Wonder if the lack of weight in rear of Ute necessitate removal of the load leaf but in my sedan runs better with it in currently. The Lpg tank wouldn't help that's for sure
