Hey guys. Im just about ready to restore the interior of a coupe 120y i picked up can someone please post pics of the
INTERIOR OF THE BOOT of a datsun 120Y coupe that they have worked on? Prefferably a pic of the boot from the inside & outside. Can the Datsun ute seats fit in the 120y coupe? Will they look any good and allow for foward folding to allow entry to backseat of the coupe? Thanks.

I can take some pics of the standard coupe boot on the weekend or maybe tomorrow if I get home while the sun's still up.

that's even easier! all the brackets on the wheel arches and around the back are for the false floor they had, which is level with the rear seat folded down. You can easily make a new false floor from plywood with a jigsaw if yours is missing or badly damaged, and glue some carpet to that. plus a couple of hinges for the center panel that lifts up for access to the spare tyre etc. That had a hook that went around the LH gas strut to holds it open.

In the last picture I notice a metallic protrusion on the left side. Just above the left wheel arch. What is that for? You can view topic.
