Contact feral Errol, He still has several L14's gathering dust. [complete] Have no idea what the cost would be.

Love but got my heart set on an L13 one day.
L14 in L18 would be mad for revs and very safe
66mm stroke, L20b rods, Z22E pistons
2.19 rod stroke ratio.

Much like a long rod A12 using A14 block

talking of wasting money on things that make you faster and handle better... I picked up the 185/55R14 Silverstone semis this arvo. These are a bit of a gamble - they're hard compound so might not be the fastest tyres ever - but hey, the price is right so I'm giving them a go.

Harry, just take a walk around the open wheeler pits during an event at Mount Cotton & see what tyre softeners they're using. You should be able to get some life out of these things. Even without treatment theyre better than street tyres, the difference better Yoko a509's & Falken RT615's was unbelieveable.

Selling the 2dr's engine and box to fund the project:

A14 with 32/36 Weber

60L dogleg 5spd

I was tempted to keep the 5spd for my other 120Y coupe, but that sort of goes against preserving it as a stock example.

Hey Harry,
good to hear of another Lseries build!!
I still have some goodies about the place from the yellow coupe. A87 head with lots of work by Datrally and improved again by Cave Hill in Vic under Errols instruction. Datrats adjustable cam gear etc. Also have 2 close ratio 71B 5 speeds available. Extractors I built to suit the coupe including merge collecter and transition also here.
PM me if anything grabs your interest.
Cheers mate.

interest grabbed! good to see you're still around mate.

both the 60L 5spd and A14 are sold already, so that should keep this project ticking along nicely.

And I found the BW diff, extra set of leaf springs and auto tailshaft I need this morning thanks to another member here, plus a cool pair of standard front mudflaps for the original blue coupe.

All I need now is an L16 really!
