So im still gathering all the bits for the wire loom.
There is some $$ in the photo below.
I seem to spend a huge amount of time working out adapters to get it all to fit.
For those that want to know here is the result of my findings and make life easier.
The CA18 has two water temp sensors one for the ECU and the other for the dash.
The dash one (single wire) has tha thread of M12x1.25. The ECU one is the standard M12x1.5.
The oil pressure switch is a 1/8 BSP thread.
The oil cooler has a thread on the side (faces the starter motor and is only on the model with with water/oil cooler thing) this thread is 3/8 BSP.

My wire loom will be manufactured from 20AWG (Sensor wire) and 16 AWG (higher current draw wire) and the wire will meet M22759/32 or Spec55 made by Raychem and for the major part covered with DR-25 heatshrink.
I managed to obtain some second hand AF8 crimps and have two turrets for them, these turrets will do all my barrel pins and also Deutsch connectors. I still need to purchase a couple of crimp tools for the motec (AMP) pins and delphi metri pack. Haltech sell a set that includes some pin remove tools too, that look pretty good for the price.
In the pic below you can see the wheel speed sensors, steering angle sensor kit, pressure and temp sensors, coil packs and some of the tools required.

Have you got fluid in the pedal box yet? if so how do they feel. Will you be running standard leaf rear?

No fluid in the pedal box yet, I need a couple of more fittings before bleeding the brakes.
Leafs are the king springs version (P/N DAT-501).

Ok did a little more work today.
Been mounting all the sensors, which has taken some time.
Today I finished the mounts for the wheel speed sensors, steering angle and mounting bracket for the coils.
Still need a couple more tools to buy before starting on the wire loom.
There has been some delays on the wheels but they are in transit and should be here Tuesday after the long weekend.
Once they arrive (15x7 GTR Superlites) I will final test on the brakes and get the one remaining hub machined.

Attached are a couple of pics of the sensor install work

Today was a little more paint work.
I mounted the spoiler and painted a few parts.
No clear coat yet ran out of time.

was happy to come home today and have four boxes waiting for me.
Finally after a 2 month wait (due to a problem with the retailer/distributer) my GTR superlites turned up.
15x7 rears are 25p and fronts 12p offset. There was a risk that my brakes wouldn't fit.
I was happy to finally put that to bed tonight, happy with the way the brakes fit.
296mm rotors and Rx7 calipers under 15" rims, with some room to spare.
I have standard superlites 14" and they do not provide the same level of internal clearance, with weight savings being the primary goal, im glad for brake clearance I chose the GTR versions.

That front apron stock or aftermarket. Looks like you fitted inserts to the tabs. Im thinking about buys aftermarket apron not sure if it comes with tabs welded on. Decided on rubber yet or waiting to fit rims and see.

The front apron (valance) is a repo version.
I have fitted nutserts into the radiator support panel so now the valance is removable.
The tabs are standard and where the valance is spot welded to the radiator support panel.
There was no real reason for my descission to do this, it seemed like an easier way to replace/repair as needed.
Would be handy if you had cut the radiator support panel for removal/installation of an engine or intercooler mounted in front of the radiator support panel.

Tyres are control, so they will be yokohama ADVAN A050s 225/50R15 all round.

Feel like im getting closer now.
Finished attaching the bodywork.
Wire is on order and due early this week. Last crimp tool is also on its way. So next weekend ill be knee deep in wiring.
Front hubs are out getting a final machine, pick up on Monday.
Following all that i need to get a few loose fittings, tyres. Then its off for shocks and a tune.
