No. No new block. Didn't go in the garage tonight.
The front seal leak should be fixed. Tranny leak I guess we'll find out.

There's more than one way to Sleeve a KA(t)!
Sleeve worked so no leak in the front. I still have transmission fluid leaking out the rear tranny seal. I left the shift boot off in the car so I could look down at the driveline while driving it. No fluid came out of the shifter. May have to take the darn Driveline out again.

Repair Sleeve before and after. Used the Permatex Green to glue it on. The Green stuff is made for bearings

Long story short. Not racing tomorrow. Still have rear tranny seal leak. Guessing now after talking with Oliver at Z Specialties (who happens to be my neighbor) that my driveline is now 1 inch to short due to my engine swap. Tranny mount did not move forward or aft but tranny tilted up a little in the rear. Don't know how that happened but I'm now not getting enough of a purchase on the tranny output shaft. So, I may be getting movement in my driveline. So, Monday I'm taking my driveshaft down to Northwest Driveline to get it lengthen 1 inch.
1 inch is going to cost me $150! Rats.
I'll start there and see if that fixes the problem.

Can you move the engine back one inch? That would be even better for traction.

I would check the driveshaft length before concluding that is the problem. Unbolt it from the flange and see if it goes in more than 1". It might be fine.

Ah ha! The,real reason you moved up by the lake, you were stalking the a specialist for expert advice free! Busted.

No room and to much work. I'll pay the $150.

Yes. I'm just hoping I didn't screw up the splines or the yoke while running it to short.

How do you know it is too short? Oil leak can be caused by several things including a worn slip yoke.
