Hey all. In the process of rebuilding the A15 out of my Datsun 1200 ute. First time rebuild I've done and could really use some advise on what camshaft regrind to get.
Bought some twin 40 dellorto's a couple months back, & it's only gonna be a daily driver, but I want it to have a good all-round pick up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers

talk to you local cam shaft grinder, they should have a couple of variant grinds on file. I believe crow & wade cams here in melbourne both have a few variant grinds from very mild to full race...

Imho i wouldnt want any came too lumper in a daily streeter, it will become very old very quickly, driving around and only feeling the power at really high rpms is useless when you can only do 100km....

Thanks for the reply. We don't have anyone locally, but called 2 different places in Auckland/Christchurch and they both had different suggestions!

You can fit a standard A14 camshaft in it and it will pull 2500 to 6000 RPM.
