The seller was no dramas at all. Took 3 working days to arrive.

Does it work? No idea, its sitting on my desk. Pics attached FYI.

Been searching for a cheap one for some time now. Does anyone know if these are good to go?

Yeah, I looked at those too but would also like to know if anyone else has actually used one.

What I'd like to know is if this will fit an early datsun 1200 a12 front mount distributor.

you can use this type of dizzy but you will need to take the adjustment plate off your old early model dizzy and use it on the new one

Do you have the modify the plate, as with a factory Datsun A14 distributor? Or does this aftermarket distributor have two seperate mount points for either plate?

It has been a few years but when I used one of these aftermarket dizzys on an A10, I think I just used the A10 plate up-side down

Also put an aftermarket dizzy on an A15 last week.
Looks similar to the one in the earlier posts. It has only one threaded mounting hole for the plate
