$20 for the bushing and $20 to get it pressed in. Hope to have the thing back together by tomorrow.

Still think my cars not cursed?
Transmission bushing pressed in and all put back together, engine and tranny back into car. Back out to track last Friday, unload car and drove it out onto track to get in line and.....Bam!!! The rotor on the distributor somehow comes loose and destroys the rotor and cap!!! No parts stores have them in stock so car loaded up and I go home.

New cap and rotor installed with some red Loctite this time. I have never had that happen before.
So waiting for next race.

I had that happen to my 1972 slant-six. It broke the gear on the end of the distributor.

Not cursed. It happens with modded stuff sometimes. You havent really had a shake down as such just ironing out issues. We all have them but at least you can identify and fix them

Cars back on the road and running better than ever. Adjusted the carbs and timing along with the plug gap.
I enjoyed a nice sunny drive the other day. I ran it hard with no problems. I am missing the next two races due to work. But I think its time to get a dyno done. Think I'll set up that appointment.

Once again troubles and once again fixed. Right after the last fix, I took the car out for a spin. Ran great. Next time out, no boost from supercharger. Crap. So deal with it later.
Got into the garage yesterday and found out the supercharger bracket that I built cracked and was flexing the tension pulley so no boost. Pulled it out, beefed it up and put it back in.
Took a long drive yesterday so its stamped as "road worthy".
I'm headed down to town now for coffee.
What's next on the fix it list?
