Thanks Jeff, I'm surprised to see the brakes are the same as 1200 coupe, sunny b310 and 120y brakes. Made the assumption that the 180b struts were somewhat of an upgrade.

Jeff, how are these an upgrade? I'm keen for some decent struts for the 1200.

For a L series conversion to be engineered here it has to have equivalent brakes and suspension from the car the engine came out of. So a 180b has an l series motor originally hence the 180b struts. They provide stronger suspension and better braking for the bigger l series engine

180b struts ok to do the commodore calipers amd magna rotor i think. Check ozdat brake thread.
