Hi All. Just scored a 60A Series 5 Speeder and going to fit to my 1975 120y 4Dr, Anyone have advise fitting one,? On the cross member and driveshaft I Was told you can get an aftermarket Gearbox Mount/ cross member to fit without any Mod's required ? Also anyone know if STD 120y Driveshaft ok to use or needs any Mods., ? Also anyone heard of the Gearbox Short shift Kit to suit the 60A ? Cheers all, Steve cossee@xtra.co.nz

60-series 5-speed uses same driveshaft as 56 or 60 series 4-speed.
The gearbox crossmember is a stock B210 piece, but differs from the 56-series crossmember. You can use the existing 1200/120Y crossmember and a simple adapter. See http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawi ... on#Using_1200_Crossmember

Not correct. The modern recommendation is still the same one in the 1971 Datsun 1200 owner's manual: API GL-4
Quote: Nissan recommendation Modern formulations fully synthetic or partially synthetic mixes. However, many boxes are 30 years old still with good synchros having used regular non-synthetic oil. Keep it full, keep it fresh is the important thing. See http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawi ... ssion_Overview#Lubricants
