Update. Going full respray all glass and motor coming out this week. Any advice on preping for the ca18det before paint?
Eg cut out battery tray and intercooler space. Before paint.
Cheers

From an engine bay perspective you almost need to test fit everything before you get it sprayed to avoid damaging the paint.

You've listed some of the main things by from my experience the following should be considered:

- cut out for inter cooler
- removal of battery tray
- hole in firewall for clutch master
- mounting holes for radiator
- several small holes for mounting relays
- I relocated washer bottle so had to drill a hole for the plastic tubing
- hole through firewall for new engine harness (quite a big one if you use stock S13 loom)
- if your getting this engineered and using a front mount inter cooler the engineer will want you to use a factory air filter box so this will need mounting points.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Good luck 😀

Also radiator support needs to be supported if cutting depending on engineer, plus like above I'd test fit all before paint as there is a fair bit involved!

Dont go 12a ffs waste of time. You can make more power from the stock engine. If your not aiming for over 200kw stay with the stock motor. Hope you have the money and time to finish this project. Good luck : )
