Your car doesn't look remotely close to 21st century what are you on about? It's a cross bred mash up.

It really is. But that's beside the topic

Great skills and attention to finish detail but in my opinion an epic waste of blood, sweat and purple paint.

The engineering and mods in these are easily better than yours. None of them look ungainly or out of whack either like the arse end of yours. And they're finished!

As Iv said before I built it how I wanted.and majority of others love the car too.i really don't care about the engine swap I'm no Datsun enthusiast nor do I really care about the brand I just like the shape of the 1200.so chopping it up and changing engines made no difference to me.to a Datsun enthusiast they probly won't like it but most people in the modified car scene love it.and that's the reason it was built.to take to summernats and powercruise and be a nice streeter.wonldnt do that that in grandpas old 1200 with plastic hub caps.no back to the point.post pics of people's thaughts on the best 1200s built :) would love to see some other really nice 1200s :)

you didn't say street cars! - you said Quote:

You can't argue you car has better engineering, workmanship, let alone performance.
Now you say drag cars don't count, even though you've tubbed and 4 linked yours to look like a drag car. So is it only cars that look like drag cars but aren't, that are going to be street registered but aren't yet, that we're allowed to compare?
Would you like to limit the criteria a bit further? Maybe best purple 1200 sedan with ugly tailights in Australia???

How could you classify a drag car with a tube chassis and fibreglass shell to be any sort of Datsun? Like comparing your rubbish race car to a v8supercar.theres no comparison.wasnt made to look like a drag car was made to have wide wheels which resulted in needing a 4 link.alsi helps handle the power.ur opinions mean nothing to me :) more people like it then not so tgats all I'm after
