I should have quoted Feral Errol sooner!
he was always one of the voices of reason against silly power claims.

L18_B110,
I've only posted info i got on other websites. They could be right or wrong.il be posting up links as well. The info is not from a12grunt but from those sources.
and there are discrepancies as you said and prob a mistype.the tomei website quotes it 170ps at 8000rpm whereas the youtube vid of tomei b110 quotes it 170ps at 8500rpm.

Below is the link straight from tomei's website. They haven't quoted anything about the torque.

yeah I figured you cut'n'paste it from somewhere. At least you could see it wasn't an attack on all things A series, just questioning it based on the astounding jump in specific torque over the other examples.

someone please post a link as of where the torque figures of the TS cup cars are coming from? ive only ever seen their claims in hp never in torque.maybe unless calculating torque from the hp and rpm figures?

also the drive-terrain the ts cup cars use seems to be neglected by most. They run race transmissions with close gear ratios resulting to more torque to the wheels as compared to using standard gearboxes.Their lsd diffs and their ratios are also suited to their highly tuned engines and gearboxes to work best with their power curves and esp the torque.

Pitroad TS Cup ports:

They (Pitroad) use an AE86 LSD in an alloy carrier H165 with 4.11 for Fuji and 4.635 for Tsukuba (in an iron carrier). They say H150 is prefferable for weight (4.0kg lighter) but it is hard to get ratios for them.

And a 56A Opt1 5spd
2.676
1.691
1.398
1.182
1.000

Info from here:
Pitroad B310 TS Cup info

You could build a pretty good TS Cup replica from the detailled info they give! And spend a small fortune with them...

Do you have the years the TS cup cars were campaigned?
Looks like they used GX heads for the porting or some
rare cast with solid port roof, like feral had.

Doesn't seem to be the case from the small pics and the google jap-lish mentioning Arumipate & Devcon!
