Ok cool, they look good enough for what I'm wanting to do. Now I've just got to find those and a set of 200b struts.

After I've done all this hunting and buying though, will this all end up being the same price as something I could buy as a kit from Datsport or Maddat?

I currently have a set of fattos ones. Used my own shocks.

I had a alloy set in my 1200 - no issues with them. The metal tread ones seem stronger.

Baz and trace at datsport have also never let me down with advice or parts.

You can get low enough for handling with 200b struts and 240z shocks.
Mr2 shocks are also a good option.

Fatto knows good combinations

I also have different brake setups to! Like depending on 13" wheels you want to run you could fit hilux brakes

Yeah that'd be great once I get some cash together, but that could take a while. I'm headed over to Europe for a holiday in a couple of months and need cash for that.

Fatto, any idea how much it would be for you to make up a set similar to the DSK245B set from Datsport?

http://www.datsport.com/strut-dsk245B.html

I'd be wanting to fit some 13x7's on the front, so as long as they clear that it's all good.

So you bought that coupe! I was caught snoozing on that one. looks the goods. Manage to pick a sweet original one from Adelaide not long ago.
Will keep a eye out for what you do.
Take it down to the Mornington cruze on the 4th
Cheers

Ha, I actually almost bought the one you bought from Adelaide!

Long story short. I had been in contact and planned to send the brother in law down, have a look, and give her a deposit the day I ended up buying mine. It just so happened that I hit F5 on eBay and saw the ad had popped up that morning. I went and looked at it 3 hours later, and ended up putting a deposit down that night. There was another guy that almost got it before me, but the guy selling it managed to piss him off so he was out of the picture. Then I had to call the lady in Adelaide and pull out of that very-almost-deal.

Man that was a stressful day...
