Small diameter coils + less camber. If the wheels are the right offset.

You need more negative offset rims. You could also run a little less neg camber on fronts.

Did a petrol tanker follow you out there today at the rate of fuel consumption it has

But what a 220km I'm guessing lol

Less neg camber should pull tyre away from strut slightly. That is if its to top edge or sidewall fouling on strut tube.

I've run 175 65 13 tyres on front and carried good grip and speed. 185 60 13 could fit with right offset rims too.
My ute ran 185 55 15 tyres no issues. Different tyre designs will have shallower or more protruding sidewalls

Camber changes have no effect on tyre-to-strut clearance, because the spindle is welded to the strut.

Using camber tops to dial in less camber (increased negative camber) pulls the top of the tyre a little bit away from the guard/fender.

Note that if you increase negative camber by lengthening the LCA the opposite happens - it will move the tyre closer to the guard.

Ummm if you put less neg it will move closer to guard and away from the strut tube slughtly wont it? Hes using my old front coil overs dd and I never had issues with similar set up.

I can see what you are saying but if it pulls away from guard how can it not pull away from strut tube by a few mm

Depends on offset, I have 195's on mine with only guards rolled and 2.25" springs, depends on Coilovers setup as well, camber does nothing to strut clearance, it will like dd and ange say allow guard clearance, you can get semi slicks in 185's but your limited in range!
I run 15x6 p26 and they suit my front end, I'd look at wheels and offset
