rebuilding the a12 so basically restoring it back to original.
Then once registered might start the ca build

Nice. Toyota do a nice ice blue on camry too. Would suit coupe. Being a sedan darker us nicer

What is this engineering? I know the concept from the various posts but what does it consist of? Are the engineers specific to auto or do they engineer bridges and drainage systems and do this on the side? Seems a waste of time to me. I know that they will say it is for safety, etc. but there is no shortage of engine swaps (1st gen RX7's with V8's, Toyota Starlets with 13B Turbos, 1930's stuff with Hemis, every imagineable turbo conversion in Hondas and Nissan Sentras etc.) here in the States and we don't have such a requirement. Most of the States have done away with annual "safety inspection". I think we have 100 times more cars than Aus. and we don't hear of modified cars causing big crashes in the news.

Engineering is a process where people who want to change the car from the original specs get to fork out loads of cash so that someone else can take the blame if it goes pear shaped. the engineer signs off that the mods are ok.

It's what happens in a more 'controlled' society (make of that what you will .... and no offense intended)
