I was calculating I need 160 hp at the wheels to get into a mid 14sec pass with the a12 does that sound correct to you guys?

Up a bit high at the wheels. Stock Ca will get 13s and they would be under that hp at wheels

reading your signature... if you have an a-series turbo making 160rwHp... im guessing keeping it in the power band will be your big problem. If the power peak is a significant "peak" at a skinny rpm range you may need that sort of power to run 14s

I ran a 13.7 in my old ute with 150hp at the wheels. It had
decent power delivery though with 100hp by 4500rpm and
it peaked at around 8000rpm. I reckon there was a bit more
in it too

Ive done a 13.6 with 130rwkw so yeah if you making 160hp at the tyres a flat 14 mid 13 sec pass wont be out of the question. Traction permitting

will have to see the car is being changed to auto and i might fit a trans brake yet will see if it trys pushing through the brakes i have the option i calculated mid 14's with same diameter tyres as i have with the stock diff and 6500 rpm limit across the line.....see what happens im aiming for 160 I might end up with alot less with the new setup who knows

my plans:

- change motor to CA18DE+T, T28BB, Z32 AFM, bigger injectors, Nistune to 15-18psi (what can a T28 run?)
-see if i can get my hands on some tyres, but needing to have 14" or larger rims could make that difficult i think
- try to sneak in a gearbox rebuild, but that would be easier if i can find a spare stumpy
