Hello everyone,

Last year was an amazing turnout of 1200s at the Annual Datsun/Nissan Meet at Blue Lake Park!

I'm just curious, who is planning on making it this year? If you live within 6 hours of the event, it should be worthwhile to come.

Last I heard, Bill Money is bringing his 1200 all the way from Edmonton, Alberta Canada! that's like 16 hours away!

Get those cars ready, and bring them out!

June 13th is the day.

See ya,

Bryon

A bit o' discussion here: 19th Annual NDOC Blue Lake Show and Shine

I'm planning on being there.
UTE18L from Sydney is hoping to make it (less his ute).

Bryon, what's the schedule like, should we show up an 9:00am or what? And how long does it last?

Why not drive, it's under 1,000 miles, and at 38mpg ... should only cost about $130 in fuel ... yikes that's a lot. The last time I drove a 1200 to California it was only about $60 round trip.

Hey DD,

In years past, our group of guys had always intended on getting there around 9:00, but there seemed to always be some kind of hangup (usually me not waking up early enough). We have rolled in around 11:00 without much problem. You don't really miss much in the first hour anyhow. That is, unless you like standing around until the whole show ends (about 3:00). You came last year, didn't you?

Yes, I came late last year and had to leave early. This year I will be more organized.

This one is worth going to!

I'm planning on coming, driving from Vancouver, British Columbia. We'll be leaving on Friday night after work. Should be a fun drive? I've only driven as far south as Redmond Washington, so we're looking forward to the great unknown.

Hello datsundonnie,

I'm looking forward to seeing some different 1200's!

I've been up to Vancouver B.C. 3 times. Great part of the world. Each of them was to attend the B.C. Z-Car get together in September.

Depending on the wait at the border crossing, it should take you less than 7 hours to get down into the area. Watch out for the speed limit through Washington! there are usually a lot of police out along I-5.

Only 3 weekends away!

By the way, does any other countries pronounce the letter Z by saying "Zed"? how about you guys down in Aussie of NZ?

That was a little weird getting used to while I was up there.

See ya,

Bryon

Hello Everyone,

Just an update:

A group of Datsun owners will be meeting at the Chalet restaurant at the Brooks exit (260) off I-5 to caravan up to the event. We will leave at 9:00 am, so if you are wanting to get a bite to eat, show up around 7:30.

Hope to see you there!

ONLY 11 DAYS LEFT! I have some work to do!

See ya, Bryon
