I want to replace the backing on my door cards then use the existing vinyl to recover them.Am I being to ambitous or is it an easy task

I did this using 4mm MDF board cut to shape. But better to use plywood as mine have warped after 2 years

Maybe even consider using lexan and a jigsaw. No water issues that way

From the factory, a waterproof lining was fitted to the doors before the door card was put on. Be sure to do the same.
