He might be intolent, it might be a bit "fast and furious", but he might get $25000 for it, especially if all the new bits were installed properly.

I was taught to only say nice things. I'm going to try and keep it that way.

Some of you angry young fellas need to kick a cat, or cane toad (Go the Blues)...

Cheers,
Chris

Distribute all the money in the world evenly amongst every person, and in 3 years it will back to where it was before.

Money don't make sense.

I reckon if Id spent alot of time building a nice 1200 like that, and I got $25000 for it, I wouldnt want to be bagged either. Good on him...just shows you that these little cars are extremely popular and we are all on a winner!!

It's a very nice Datsun indeed, and even though I wouldn't personally spend 25 grand on a ute, I'm happy for him that he got what he wanted for it.

I don't know about you guys, but the thing that intrigues me most about this is that this guy is 17!!!

Man when I was 17 I was cruising around in a $1500 gemini *braces herself for abuse* that I saved up and bought myself.

Kids these days hey! ... hahaha

yeah thats true too...kids get paid way too much, or their parents live in Sydney and they take out a 3rd mortgage on their house to buy cars for their kids.
I think the biggest thing is that finance is alot easier to get these days.

Come on now guys, not all kids are like that. I'm only 17 and I work full time in the summer, as an exhaust tech (I have three mechanics working under me, all almost twice my age). I work a 56 hour week, and save my money. My parents wouldn't pay a dime towards a car or insurance for me, and I wouldn't let them if they wanted to. Now, I dont have a $25,000 ute, but I do have my '73 1200, a 1969 Mercury convertible, and I just sold my fully restored '73 VW Beetle. All this is from working my ass off, not from begging mommy and daddy for money like some kids. Just something to think about.

Hey my parents are well off, but i havent recieved a cent from them since i finished school. When i left school i started working full time at a chicken shop 12 hours a day 5 or 6 days a week, saving for my datsun and my uni fees, now i finished first year at uni and have started working again this year to save up for second year, Yeah my parents could probably throw me a bit of cash but they choose not too because this didnt happen to them.
The problem is that parents love there kids so much they will do anything to keep them happy even if it means forking out for a nice car. When i first left school i had a $100 dollar mazda 323 when every one else had BMW's, brand new Pulsar SSS, or pergeot S16's.
Its the parents fault not the kids, if some one bought me a car i'd take it and probabbly end up smashing it because I did nothing for it
The kid in the Pics in fast fours looks like he did put in an effort for his ride, otherwise he wouldnt be asking $25,000
