i am just got myself a datsun 120Y Coupe and the number is kb110 is this anything special for a coupe or just the normal coupe number...
somewhere i was reading about the "excellent" datsuns.. is this one of them??

KB110 is a Datsun 1200 Coupe, not a 120Y Coupe (which would be KB210).

on the plate in the engine bay it has kb110 and 1200 coupe stamped in, but on the outside it says 120Y

The Nissan plate or the Australia compliance plate? The latter could have made a mistake.
Do you have a picture of the car yet?

sorry i couldnt borrow my mates camera and i have alreay started gutting the whole car, so i wont have any before photos
