I'd love to take a LH & RH version of these (for a U.S. spec 1200) off your hands once you whittle up a batch.

You are quite correct with what you are saying. I bought one last year and have had to make a plate up to go between the inner guard and the Maddat brace. Not really good enough for a company like that. Especially after questioning it and being told to just crank up the bolts...
So if there is another option and Matts ones look really good I would go for it and just pay the extra money as you will more than pay the difference getting a sandwich plate made up to fit.
Cheers
Dave

Sounds like Matt's is the better option. Let us know when these are ready, I'd also like one RHD version if possible.

Billet does look neat. But I have the Maddat brace and had no issues with fitment. Mind you it was bought about 6 years ago, but I wouldn't think the design has changed?

I made the prototype and it needed a some slight adjustments, just for adjustment.

I also took a little more material out of the design to make it a total of 1/4 of a 1-lbs

Here is the final design.

Looks good. Let us know when we can start ordering

Any final price estimate including shipping for these to Australia?

Final set price is the $125.00 USD

I want to include hardware if I can get the right price from a vendor.

For OZ shipping I will have to stop at the post office again to have them weigh it with packing material and customs payment.

Last package I sent to Australia was $21.00 and was a similar sized item.

After looking at it in solid works a RHD can flip to be a LHD brace lol.

It would make the right angle face down vs up.
